About

I am a playwright, meditation teacher and Akashic Consultant. No matter the hat, my goal is to help others touch the soul underneath these very human suits that we wear - even blow the blinders off to the astonishing, flabbergasting miracle of this very real life.

Consulting my Akashic records has transformed my life on every level and I love supporting others to do the same. A Level IV consultant trained with Akashic Records Consultants Int’l, I now give Akashic consultations and events.  After many years of buddhist training (including 18 months of personal retreat), I went on to teach over 500 meditation classes in some of the biggest companies in the world (Facebook, Barclays, PWC) and lead retreats and classes on staff at Kripalu retreat center, MNDFL and Journey Meditation, among others throughout NYC and the northeast. I also host an Akashic forecast series "The Report from the Field"

My theater work has been developed or produced at The Mercury Store, The Lark, Theaterlab, LaGuardia Performing Arts Center, Dixon Place, Stratford New Works Lab, the Sewanee Conference, Piano Fight, Figment Arts Festival on Governors Island, Playwrights Horizons, Yale Cabaret, Moving Parts Paris, BRIC Arts Media, Prospect Theater, Musical Theater Factory, Norfolk Music Festival and the Théâtre de Ménilmontant, Paris. My translations from French include The Chairs by Eugene Ionesco. My essays on theater have been published in American Theater Magazine, Howlround, and The San Francisco Chronicle. I was a Walter E. Dakin Fellow at the Sewanee Conference and the recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Theater Bay Area, JM Kaplan Fund and the Dramatist Guild. My work has been a finalist for the Dramatist Guild Fellowship, Playwright’s Realm Fellowship, Jerome NYC Fellowship, Play Penn, Bay Area Playwrights Festival, and the New Harmony Project. I have held teaching artist positions at Wesleyan and Yale, among others. MA in opera dramaturgy from the Sorbonne in Paris and MFA in playwriting from the Yale School of Drama where I received the Eugene O’Neill Memorial Scholarship. I am currently based in Rhode Island.
